Have you seen Cacoyannis' other Greek tragedies? Trojan Women, which is English language, is the best, and one of the best renditions of Troades I've seen, despite the miscasting of Pappas as Helen. Pappas is better cast as Clytaemnestra in Iphigenia, which has a fine end that effectively addresses the problematic conclusion of the play.
